Hi. I jump in here to speak out a few, or maybe a lot of words. I was born VietNamese. But, unfortunately, I'm "in love" with another country: China. I never know why but I've been attracted to their language since I heard them in those Costumes dramas of theirs when I was small. Truthfully, I guess I'd never be able to explain why, just that theirs is something, well, something that sounds antique and at the same time noble in the sound of every words. Also, I'm fascinated by everything related to China, from the films, their traditional food and clothes, even their history. I once spent 2 hours just visiting and skimming pages about the history of China. I just fell like, well, I wish I was born Chinese, Why would I be born into a country that lies just under the country I want to be born in. Okay, yeah, you may think it's fine that sb has a favor for another country, but I'm a Vietnamese. China had overruled VietNam for more than a thousand years, and their kings and knights had done many terrible thing to my ancestors. Not to say that China and VietNam are now having problems fighting over Hoang Sa islands. I know I don't have the power to change any of this, I just wonder why people are all mixing things up. Sure that they are stealing sth that's ours (according to the infromation that I was raised with), but that is the problem between our leaders and their leaders, the number barely coming up tp a milllion, which has totally nothing to do with a whole 1 billion people traditional cultures. It's just .. Oh, I don't know what to say. Can I find some encouragement here?
